PRODUCE PROCEDURES

Definer is ideal for producing and maintaining procedures. The diagram below shows a small extract of actual procedures (kindly provided by Grampian Fire Brigade).

The advantages of using Definer are :-

• Appropriate references can be attached to each procedure
• Relevant documents, video clips, etc. can be attached to each procedure
• People who are expected to follow the procedures can be identified
• Definer automatically numbers procedures following conventions used by ISO (the number of the highlighted procedure can be seen at the bottom right hand corner of the diagram above)
• When procedures are added or deleted Definer will automatically renumber all other procedures
• Definer records when procedures were added and when they were last edited
